I really am enamored with the colors. I actually painted my own tiny home this past week, and went with a dark blue that looks more like black, and an ivory that looks somewhat orangey. I actually had thought I was getting a medium navy blue and a proper ivory, but pretty much had to go with what I received.
I ended up really liking the high contrast look, and I remember thinking, “It kind of reminds me of some other tiny house color schemes I’ve seen.” And then today I see this house, and now I am feeling really good about my paint job. The colors I picked as well as the layout with the dark stripe below and the lighter color above is very close to this. It looks fabulous here, doesn’t it?
Okay, enough about my paint job, and back to exploring the house. The interior features another interesting and somewhat surprising color combination. The principle colors I see here are an orangey tan, a darker brown, white, and a wine color. I wouldn’t have thought these hues would complement each other so nicely, but they look fabulous together.
The bar is situated under a wide window so that you can look outside while you’re eating. It features live edge wood for a rustic accent. If you want to let in some fresh air, you can open the window fully.
There are storage compartments underneath the couch. Behind it, you can see this home features lots of windows for sunlight and fresh air. More light pours in from overhead through the house’s two skylights.
