Step inside a pristine beach cottage – its charming vintage interior is a real treat

Tybee Island is a popular getaway spot in Georgia, and it’s where you’ll find the darling Twin Palms Cottage. The house sits beneath two swaying palm trees, from where it derives its name, and is just steps away from Back River beach. You can book the one-bedroom space as a vacation rental through VRBO.

The exterior has the classic white beach house look, complete with a screened in porch. The interior is designed in vintage flea market style featuring painted wood floors, bead board walls, and wicker furniture. As you take the photo tour below, you’ll almost be able to hear those ocean waves crashing on the shore.
The cottage features a studio layout that includes a bed, kitchenette, and dining area. The bathroom is located at the rear of the house. The space is small, but doesn’t feel cramped thanks to clever furniture placement.
The bed is soft and cozy with crisp white textiles in cotton and lace. Natural light pours in through the window creating a bright and cheerful atmosphere.

The kitchenette conjures images of a cozy English cottage with its rustic planked wall, vintage dishes, and ruffled counter skirt. A small table and chairs are tucked in the corner to create a dining space.
The open shelving displays a collection of antique dishware that pops against the painted wood plank wall.

The vintage charm continues into the bathroom where you’ll find an English washstand and a claw foot tub. White bead board and a framed window help to brighten the space.
