Drimnin, Scotland, United Kingdom, is one of the most remote places in Scotland. It is at the end of 12 miles of single track road from Lochaline, which is 30 miles from the Corran Ferry, with 18 miles being a single track road. Drimnin sits on the north east shore of the Sound of Mull, which is almost opposite Tobermory, and occupies a superb location with stunning views over Mull. Just to the south there is a side road that leads steeply down to the shore and is called Bunavullin. There are cottages gathered around and above another extremely beautiful bay with views over to Mull. This is where you will find an old shcool, and a little further south you will find a Post Office, the only shop in Drimin. About a mile to the south is an old church that stands above the road, and is almost shrouded in rhododendrons.
