The owners have specialized in tiny house designs for years and with this tiny house, they decided to build it16 feet up in a tree.
The treehouse tiny house design is built around a hundred-year-old cottonwood tree that died last year and the owners just couldn’t cut it down. So, instead, they decided to preserve the trunk and built an amazing treehouse to share with everyone. This vacation rental is also one of the only approved Airbnb Experience hosts in all of Utah. Their slot canyon tours are unforgettable. This treehouse cabin building is truly unique. Guests are more than welcome to access the treehouse through the hobbit door that opens up to the inside of the Cottonwood tree trunk. This is like nothing you’ve seen before, the builders managed to hollow out the inside of the giant tree and have added a climbing wall with access for serious adventurers. Guests don’t need to worry though as they also have stairs to access the treehouse.
The treehouse has been tastefully constructed with rustic tiny house design and some modern and clean finishes too. The treehouse has everything you need for a comfortable stay. They have a full-sized bathroom with all the toiletries provided. The treehouse vacation rental has a kitchenette with a two-burner stove, fridge, toaster, microwave, and coffee maker. There is a loft with a king-size bed and a couch that pulls out to sleep extra guests as well. The treehouse has free wifi, DirectTV, and access to Hulu/Netflix/etc. There is a large picture window that allows you to see the beautiful views of The Sugar Knoll plateau. At night you can also watch the stars right from your bed. The owners have provided a gas grill on the patio along with a fire pit down below for evening marshmallow roasting. A pool and hot tubs are coming November 2019.
The treehouse has electronic locks so checking in very convenient. You are welcome to use everything in the treehouse. The treehouse is in a location that is perfect for visiting Southern Utah’s National Parks. They are situated right between Zion only 20 minutes away and Bryce which is 50 minutes away. The Grand Canyon is only an hour and a half south of the treehouse location as well. Other favorites you might like include Cedar Breaks, Horseshoe Bend, Coral Pink Sand Dunes, Lake Powell, and Antelope Canyon are all close as well. There is public transit available too.
